My promotion is not reflecting on Shopify, what do I do?

If your website is on Shopify, you may notice a discrepancy in the amount displayed on your Shopify Dashboard vs. your PayMongo Dashboard. πŸ€”

For example, if your customer applied a Php 60 Discount on their order via the promotions feature worth Php 1,895, you can expect the following to happen on your dashboards:

​PayMongo Dashboard

  • Gross Amount will show Php 1,835 (amount with promo discount applied)

Shopify Dashboard

  • Paid Amount will show Php 1,895 (amount before promo discount is applied)

⚠️ Note: For Refunds made via Shopify, an order can't be refunded with the amount before promo. Given this, even if a full refund is made, Shopify will tag this as a "Partially Refunded" order. We highly encourage you to double check your refunds for transactions with Promotions over at your PayMongo Dashboard as this shows a more accurate breakdown.

Shopify Dashboard - Shows Partially Refunded even if the full discounted amount of Php 1,835 has been refunded.


​PayMongo Dashboard - Shows Fully Refunded since the full discounted amount of Php 1,835 has been refunded.
